Access and Career Development supports Ontario-based Aboriginal arts professionals and arts professionals of colour. Applicants can request funding for training, mentoring or apprenticing in all contemporary and traditional art practices., Video Writing an effective artist statement

 This short video will teach you approach to self-branding, help you understand how to write an effective artist statement, and will teach you the difference between a bio and an artist statement. It will also offer examples of artist statement to give you something concrete to work from. This video is mostly useful for visual artists, although some of the information about self-branding and writing bios can be useful for other artists.
