AOE Arts Council features online destination where art, the artist and the audience can connect.

AOE Arts Council is proud to launch a new site Accolade ( as a place where all levels of artistic expression – recreational, community-based, emerging or professional - will meet. Content will showcase performances, exhibits, works and projects by its members, and AOE activities.

“Our members are passionate about art. We create to share and engage, we practice art as amateurs and professionals, and we contribute to the quality of life in Ottawa,” says Kathy MacLellan President, AOE Arts Council and a Professional Artist, Rag and Bone Puppet Theatre.

Accolade visitors will find innovation, imagination and art in all its forms in our dynamic city. It is a site to discover artists, follow their work, find arts instruction and support the arts.

Accolade will also feature guest contributor posts, commentary, in-depth articles about our artistic community and opportunities for artists.

That’s a lot of art for one site but AOE was up for the challenge after a long run of printing their successful quarterly magazine ARTnews.
