An Evening of Magic with AOE Arts Council


Ottawa, Ontario – On November 3, 2011 join AOE Arts Council, artists and arts organizations from the region along with community leaders, business people and local politicians for its annual signature fundraiser ARTinis & Appetizers. This year’s master of ceremony magician, Eric Leclerc will entertain guests with his amazing magic. Now in its third year at the Shenkman Arts Centre, ARTinis & Appetizers combines Ottawa’s culinary arts with an evening cocktail in support of the arts.

The program will include performances by The Pollcats, Suzuki School of Music, and Orpheus Musical Theatre. There will also be dancing, fantastic items up for bid at a silent auction and a wheel turning demonstration by potter, Isaac Fouchard from the Gloucester Pottery School. Guests will be able to visit each caterer’s area to discover thematic displays and taste sumptuous appetizers and desserts.

AOE Arts Council (AOE), incorporated in 1987, serves a bilingual membership of more than 85 arts organizations and over 300 individual members and businesses. Its mission is to support, promote and develop the practice and appreciation of the arts in Ottawa.
