Adrienne Herron is a photographic artist and photography instructor living in Chelsea, Quebec. She has taught photography for more than 10 years in Canada and for three summers in Giverny, France.

ARTIST STATEMENT: My life’s journey brought me to paint, sculpt and appreciate arts of all kind. All my energy is spent on painting, discovering, experimenting, to share and give the best of myself. Direct contact with nature stimulates my imagination and enable me to paint outside the box and leaves me free to experiment and create from the inside out.. The fragrant country air, the birds’ music and melody, the nature’s array of colours, the feeling of freedom and well-being, all this incites me to create and to capture the mystery, the energy and emotions, the roughness or delicate beauty of the subject, through textures and expressive colours. My goal is to paint the world, to embrace its beauty, to reflect the inspiration, the freedom I feel, the emotions, the life within.

Allison Hamilton creates portraits of the world and the creatures in it with the rich colours of soft pastels. She paints anything that catches her fancy, or even yours. While her passion is the vibrant colours of sunset and the wonderful delicacy of clouds in all their forms, she enjoys painting animals, buildings, people and objects as well, and does commission work from photographs and objects.

Born in San Sebastian, the Basque Country north of Spain, Ana took up oil painting and interior design in Madrid during the early seventies. In 1975, she married Canadian Foreign Service officer John Bryson. Though his postings, Ana has lived in cities around the world, including Bogota, Brussels, Vienna, as well as Ottawa.

"Nena" – Ana Maria Rutenberg grew up in Mexico City as the youngest of five children and the only girl. This is where her nickname comes from: "Nena" means, "little baby girl" in Spanish. She uses this name to sign her artwork.

Angela recently returned to the Ottawa area from London, UK and Washington DC. Verlaeckt Clark has been a sculptor since the 70’s, firstly in clay, then stone; while in the USA she added fused glass artist to her accomplishments. Verlaeckt Clark worked under the tutelage of a master carver in Italy and exhibited, both with, prestigious art societies and in numerous London Art Galleries. Angela was admitted to the Library and Archives of the National Gallery of Canada in 2003. Verlaeckt Clark’s abstract sculptures are very Zen, reflecting a personal interpretation of earth’s rhythms. Her fused glass ‘Art’ jewellery is the colorful, exuberant side of her personality. Angela revient à Ottawa après un séjour à Londres et à Washington. Verlaeckt Clark sculpte depuis les années soixante-dix, d’abord avec l’argile puis avec la pierre. Lors de son séjour aux États-Unis, Verlaeckt Clark développe une technique de verre d’art fusionné. Verlaeckt Clark a travaillé en Italie sous la tutelle d’un maître sculpteur et a exposé à la fois dans des sociétés d’art prestigieuses, ainsi que des Galeries d’Art londoniennes. Angela fut admise en 2003 à la Librairie et Archives de la Galerie Nationale du Canada. Les sculptures de Verlaeckt Clark sont très zen reflétant son interprétation personnelle des rythmes de la terre. Ses bijoux colorés en verre d’art fusionné expriment le côté exubérant et original de sa personnalité.

Boni Penna, an Italian-born Canadian visual artist, aeronautical engineer by profession, studied art history and drawing in Italy. This classical background led him expressing himself in pencil and ink drawings and later in black and white photography.In the 1980's he developed an interest in sculpture.

Carmella Karijo Rother is a mixed media textile artist who works mainly with Dupioni silk in creating her abstract canvases.  Self taught as an artist, her previous career in nature interpretation influences the perspectives she brings to her art.

Carolina est née au Mexique et elle vit et travaille à Montréal depuis 2003 .Elle détient un baccalauréat en arts visuels spécialisé en peinture en “La Esmeralda” de L’institut de Beaux Arts au Mexique .Elle a entre autres exposé à la Biennale de Firenze en Italie , à la cinquième Biennale de peinture au Musée d’art Contemporain Alfredo Zalce au Mexique, dans la maison de culture Cote-des-Neiges à Montréal et dans Shenkman Arts Centre à Ottawa . Dans son œuvre, l’homme et la bête s’unissent dans une complicité ou dans un rapport d’interdépendance fragile et menacé. Le travail de Carolina dénonce les caractéristiques égocentriques de l’homme, qui ont conduit la planète et ses habitants, plus particulièrement les animaux, dans un chaos où s'accumulent la pollution, le réchauffement de la planète et la disparition des espèces. Par ailleurs, l'orientation écologique de son travail fait voir également un côté intimiste, émotionnel et personnel. Ses couleurs directes prédominent ses œuvres, attirant notre regard, tantôt vers la froideur d’une scène et parfois vers la violence et la colère qui se dégage d’une autre scène. Son travail nous plonge dans un monde à la fois de contraste et d’homogénéité, où l’animal et l’humain se confondre et se distingue en même temps. Sa manière, à la fois, simpliste et violente de dénoncer un problème d’actualité, ne manque pas d'attirer l'attention et éventuellement de susciter une réflexion à travers d’un monde très particulière.
