Member Profile

Bytown Beat Chorus is a women’s competitive barbershop chorus who enjoys singing 4 part acapella harmony. Women of all ages are offered a creative outlet for musical growth.

Members receive a weekly vocal lesson and learn to sing as a harmony team. We are a member of Sweet Adelines International (SAI), a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performances.

We are always looking for new members. No formal musical training is required. An audition is held after a period of 4 to 6 weeks.
